PR58: E-TBIMS (Tangga Batu Integrated Management System) Application: Driving The Digital Transformation Of School Management

MOHD AL-QAHHAR BIN MUHMAD NOR SK TANGGA BATU

Abstract

The e-TBIMS (Tangga Batu Integrated Management System) innovation was developed to address critical administrative challenges at SK Tangga Batu, specifically data fragmentation, system link overload, and delayed manual reporting. The primary objective of this project is to create a centralized digital control center that streamlines overall school management. Methodologically, the smart application was built using AppSheet's low-code platform based on the ADDIE instructional design framework and evaluated through the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). It seamlessly integrates six core modules: Administration, Curriculum, Student Affairs, Co-curriculum, Social Media, and Official Links. A field study involving 32 educators was conducted to measure user acceptance and operational effectiveness. The key findings demonstrated a highly significant impact, showing a 97% increase in document retrieval efficiency and an exceptional daily usage rate of 90.6% among teachers. Furthermore, the development incurred zero cost (RM0.00) by maximizing the Ministry of Education's DELIMa ecosystem. In conclusion, e-TBIMS successfully eliminates manual clerical burdens, promotes a 100% paperless green initiative, and provides a highly scalable digital blueprint that strongly aligns with the Malaysia Education Plan (RPM) 2026-2035 towards Digital Education.
