Vehicle inspection is essential for ensuring road safety, vehicle reliability, and preventive maintenance; however, conventional inspection practices are often inconsistent, highly dependent on individual technicians, and poorly documented. CARE CHECK is a smart digital vehicle inspection and diagnostic system developed to standardize and digitalize the vehicle inspection process through a structured 33-point inspection framework. The system integrates digital inspection procedures, vehicle condition assessment, diagnostic information, image-based inspection, data recording, and automated reporting within a user-friendly platform.
CARE CHECK enables technicians to perform systematic inspections using standardized checkpoints while inspection results are recorded digitally for easier monitoring, traceability, and future reference. The platform can also support smart features such as artificial intelligence-based image analysis, QR-enabled inspection records, digital certificates, and centralized vehicle inspection databases. This transforms conventional inspection into a more efficient, transparent, and data-driven process.
The innovation is designed for workshops, automotive service centres, training institutions, technicians, students, and vehicle owners. Beyond inspection, CARE CHECK can function as a training, competency development, and industry collaboration platform. Its modular architecture provides opportunities for further integration with IoT devices, diagnostic equipment, predictive maintenance, and cloud analytics.
