The increasing complexity of aircraft engine systems has created challenges for aircraft maintenance students in understanding compressor operation through conventional teaching methods. Traditional learning approaches, which rely primarily on lectures, textbooks, and static diagrams, often provide limited opportunities for students to visualize compressor stages, airflow behaviour, and engine performance. This project focuses on the development of an interactive aircraft engine compressor training kit application using Google JotForm as part of the CompressorX learning system. The application is designed to complement the physical training kit by providing interactive learning materials, visual illustrations of compressor stages, airflow patterns, component descriptions, and explanations of engine performance under different throttle positions. By integrating digital learning with a physical compressor model, the application offers a more engaging and comprehensive educational experience that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical understanding. Google JotForm was selected due to its user-friendly interface, accessibility across multiple devices, and ability to incorporate interactive forms, multimedia content, and educational resources without requiring advanced programming skills. In addition, the application concludes with an interactive quiz that allows students to assess their understanding of the learning content, reinforce key concepts, and receive immediate feedback on their performance. This assessment feature promotes active learning, improves knowledge retention, and enables both students and instructors to evaluate learning outcomes more effectively. Overall, the developed application is expected to improve students' understanding of aircraft engine compressor systems, increase learning engagement, and serve as an effective supplementary teaching tool for aircraft maintenance education.
