AIRA is a Final Year Project collaboration between UniKL MIIT and Katapult Asia to enhance the Al-Ikhsan retail shopping experience through artificial intelligence and robotics. It provides intelligent customer assistance by answering product-related queries using AI engines , offering personalised recommendations, comparing product features, explaining specifications and promotions, and supporting multilingual communication. Integrated with retail databases and inventory systems, AIRA delivers real-time product availability, pricing, and product location information while autonomously guiding customers using ROS2-based navigation. By automating routine customer service tasks, AIRA improves operational efficiency, reduces labour costs, enhances service consistency, and creates a more engaging shopping experience.
