Water leakage in underground residential pipelines causes significant water wastage, infrastructure deterioration and increased utility costs. This project presents the Development of a Hybrid Solar-Powered Smart Underground Water Leakage Detection System for residential applications. The system integrates flow sensors and an ESP32 microcontroller to monitor and process real-time water usage data. A three-day baseline learning phase establishes normal household consumption patterns. Multisensor validation logic is used to confirm potential leakage before sending alerts to a smartphone application. For severe confirmed leaks, an automatic solenoid valve shuts off the water supply. A hybrid solar panel and battery system ensures continuous operation during power outages, supporting efficient and reliable residential water management.
