Virtual Booth

This project presents the design and development of UniBench, a specialized multipurpose waiting bench tailored for the lecturer hallways at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). The project addresses the need for functional resting spaces while streamlining the student-lecturer assignment submission process. Strategically designed to be positioned between two lecturer offices, UniBench provides an ergonomic seating area for students and features a dual-compartment assignment drop-off system. Each compartment is dedicated to an individual lecturer and integrated with a unique QR code to facilitate a systematic and trackable submission process. Furthermore, the design incorporates practical storage solutions, including an umbrella holder and a shoe rack, to maximize utility and maintain a clean, organized corridor environment. By combining ergonomic seating, spatial efficiency, and digital integration, UniBench offers a comprehensive furniture solution that enhances administrative workflows and student convenience within an academic setting.
