ABSTRACT

Smart Classroom Energy Saver is an innovative automated system designed to reduce unnecessary electricity consumption in classrooms. The system uses a motion sensor and microcontroller to detect the presence of students and lecturers. When movement is detected, the system allows electrical appliances such as lights and fans to operate normally. When the classroom is empty and no movement is detected for a certain period, the system automatically switches off the appliances.

In addition, the system can be integrated with an energy monitoring feature to record and display electricity usage through a dashboard. This allows users and college management to monitor energy consumption and identify areas where electricity is being wasted.

The proposed system aims to reduce electricity wastage, lower energy costs, and encourage environmentally friendly practices. It can also be expanded to other areas such as laboratories, tutorial rooms, and offices. Overall, Smart Classroom Energy Saver provides a simple, practical, and sustainable solution for creating smarter and more energy-efficient learning environments.
