This project presents a pirate-themed educational board game developed to improve classroom participation and student interest through game-based learning. Designed for school students, the innovation addresses the limitations of traditional lecture-based instruction by promoting active engagement while strengthening English grammar skills, particularly verbs and adjectives. Similar to Snakes and Ladders, players complete language challenges and strategically use limited sabotage cards to hinder opponents, encouraging critical thinking and decision-making. A pilot implementation indicated positive learner engagement and motivation throughout gameplay. The project demonstrates strong educational and commercial potential through physical board game distribution, customizable subject expansions, and future digital adaptation opportunities.
