Conventional scoring systems used in competitions, training activities, technical assessments, and performance evaluations commonly rely on manual recording and calculation. These processes may result in delays, calculation errors, inconsistent data recording, and difficulties in monitoring results in real time. IoT-SCORE is a smart scoring and monitoring application developed to digitalize the entire scoring process through the integration of Internet of Things (IoT), mobile/web applications, cloud-based data management, and automated score calculation.
The system enables assessment data to be entered manually through smart devices or automatically acquired from connected IoT sensors and equipment. The collected information is transmitted to a centralized digital platform where scores are processed, calculated, stored, and displayed through a real-time dashboard. Judges, instructors, organizers, and authorized users can monitor participant performance instantly while reducing repetitive administrative work.
Key functions include automated score calculation, centralized participant records, real-time result monitoring, digital data storage, performance analysis, ranking generation, and report production. The modular design allows different scoring parameters, competition formats, assessment criteria, and IoT devices to be configured according to application requirements.
IoT-SCORE transforms a conventional scoring process into a connected, transparent, efficient, and data-driven assessment system. The innovation has potential applications in education, TVET skills assessment, sports, competitions, automotive activities, industrial training, and technical performance evaluation, while providing opportunities for future integration with artificial intelligence, analytics, cloud services, and automated measurement systems.
