Queen of the Jellyfish transforms discarded recyclable materials into sustainable couture inspired by the elegance and resilience of marine ecosystems. The garment incorporates post-consumer plastics, fabric remnants, and household waste, reconstructed through innovative textile manipulation techniques to emulate the fluidity and transparency of jellyfish. This project redefines waste as a valuable design resource, integrating circular economy principles, biomimicry, and creative upcycling to minimise environmental impact while producing high-value wearable art. Beyond aesthetics, it promotes environmental awareness, sustainable fashion education, and responsible consumption. Aligned with SDGs 12, 13, and 14, Queen of the Jellyfish demonstrates how innovative design can transform pollution into beauty and inspire meaningful environmental change.
