TR235: AURAL SOLAT TRACKING SYSTEM

The Aural Solat Tracking System project is developed to help individuals perform prayer more accurately by automatically detecting and counting the number of prostrations (sujud) and rakaat. The system uses motion or pressure sensors placed on the prayer mat to detect the user’s movements during prayer. Signals from the sensors are then processed by a microcontroller to determine the correct sequence of sujud and rakaat. 

Real-time feedback is provided through an OLED, LED, buzzer, and audio output. The audio feature plays essential surah recitations, especially for two-rakaat sunnah prayers and for users who are still learning. This device is designed as a standalone system without relying on a smartphone, which helps users maintain better focus and concentration during prayer. 

In addition, this project demonstrates the integration of hardware and software components such as sensors, microcontroller, PCB design, and real-time processing. The system is suitable for children, individuals with focus difficulties, and adults who tend to forget the number of rakaat, while also providing practical exposure to embedded system development.
